[Well well, this little communicator was invaluable. Oh yes, people shared and shared and shared. And Rumpelstiltskin listened. He's only just arrived, but he that hasn't stopped him from paying attention, from learning how this little thing worked. Now though, he flips his own on to share a bit himself. The video shows his strange smiling face, but before he manages to speak, he laughs, all at once, a sudden explosion of a trilling little sound.] This is terribly interesting, isn't it?

Tell me, has anyone else noticed... [A little pause here and he wiggles his fingers.] familiar faces that aren't actually familiar here? I just don't know what to make of it. [This was a lie. He'd already decided to use it to his advantage. Oh there were ways to do this; he was sure of it. He was still working it through though.]

But since we're speaking of familiarity, let me introduce myself. [A toothy grin that was largely not as reassuring as he might have hoped.] My name is Rumpelstiltskin and I am... a purveyor of necessities and fondest desires and useful magics. If you find yourself in need of the unfindable, well, I humbly... [He ducks his head in a bit of a mock bow, undermined a bit by another laugh.] offer my services. Of course, bear in mind, all things, especially magical, have their price. One can't do business for nothing!

Hm. Don't wander too far then, I'll be there as soon as I can manage.

[Traveling from plant to planet has been something she's grown accustomed to, surprisingly.]

I have nowhere to wander! I'll be sure to stay put. [Mostly stay put. He can be a patient man, after all.]

Good. The last thing we would want is for you to get lost. [not that traverse town is huge, but still. There are heartless milling about and she's not familiar with how well this man can protect himself from things like that.

It doesn't take her too terribly long before she's decending the staircase to the main part of traverse town, where she herself had arrived only a month or more ago. It doesn't take her long to spot Rumple, but once she does, she raises a hand in an enthusiastic wave.]

[Rumpelstiltskin has stayed put -- mostly. He's found himself a perch, really, sitting on the top rail of a fence, one leg up so his arm can prop against it, the other dangling down.

His strange dark eyes catch sight of her almost immediately. A grin -- that strange mix of menace and glee -- stretches ghoulishly over his face as he lifts a hand to wave back.]

[Good boy, very well behaved?

She closes the distance quickly, hands clasping in front of her once she's gotten close enough. His appearance.... is different, but Lenalee's not really one to let that get in her way. She's seen stranger.]

I'm sorry it took a bit longer than I expected. There has been a lot going on here lately. [She manages another smile, this one looking a bit more tired and less genuine than before ] You should be careful, especially if you see heartless about.

[Does he get a cookie?

He slips down from his perch with a bit of a hop, just shy of prancing really.] Not to worry, deary, I've had quite a bit to keep me occupied.

Heartless? Those shadowy little things?

[sanguineheels]

[Lots of cookies. She nods, stepping back to give the gentleman room.]

Mm. You should avoid them if you can... lately they've been more active than usual. Even some people who have been here for a while have... [She frowns and takes a moment to steel her emotions. She's trying to help someone right now.]

I wouldn't want anything to happen to you, you've only just managed to get here.

[Rumplestiltskin steps just a bit closer. Oh no, Lenalee, he caught that just then. Hmm. interesting.]

Oh no, deary. Don't worry about me. I am excellent at taking care of myself.

[sanguineheels]

[Not gonna think about it right now! Business!.... sort of. Well, it's comforting that he seems confident. She nods vaguely.]

I'm glad to hear, but please, regardless of your ability it's best to be safe than sorry. [It's the same sort of tone she takes with those she's helping shuffle along at the order.]

The hotel isn't far this way. Your key should have your room number on it. The moogles gave you your money too, didn't they?

Better safe than sorry. [A short little giggle at that. Oh he's believed that before. But he certainly has little worry about those small dark creatures where he is concerned.]

Why yes, they did. Strange little creatures. ...they remind me a bit of fairies. [...which makes it impressive he didn't kill them just because.]

[sanguineheels]

...faries? Really? [she frowns, unsure about that comparison.]

In the books my brother would read to me, they sounded so different.

[intogold]

Yes. Not precisely, mind you, but small, nosy, meddling little things. In that respect they're quite similar.

[He grins with a bit of a shrug.] Others might disagree.

[sanguineheels]

[she shakes her head with a bemused sort of smile.]

I wouldn't have thought to make the comparison. I suppose in a way you might be right. [in any case.] The hotel is this way. It's not far. You probably could have made it with just directions.

[she shrugs her shoulders, smiling vaguely.]

I appreciated the help I received when I arrived, however. I think it's only fair I help in return.

[intogold]

Well, I do hate to think I've taken you out of your way for so simple a matter. [The words are accompanied by a manic burst of giggling.] Though I do appreciate the help. And the company.

Perhaps I can do something to... repay the kindness.

[sanguineheels]

Oh! No. Don't think you need to. It's the least I could do. [She smiles, trotting along toward where the hotel is.]

I wouldn't dream of asking for something in return. I enjoy helping others.

[intogold]

Really? Nothing in return?

[He doesn't sound skeptical. Just a bit surprised. That's not good business, Lenalee. Not good business at all.] How selfless of you! It must be exhausting.

[sanguineheels]

[she turns, blinking at the gentleman]

It's not that exhausting. [a smile] Because, we're all stuck here together, if we work together it will be easier on everyone.

[intogold]

Do you think so? I wonder. [Working together. He's seen that work out less than ideally in the past for so many.]

[sanguineheels]

There's a lot of power in numbers. It can be a difficult task to organize everyone, but if it can be done the results are often invaluable!

[besides, she knows all too well what being completely isolated can do to someone as well.]

That's quite the "if" deary. People are out for themselves much more often than they're out for others. I've known this quite intimately. [There's an almost singsong quality to his voice as he mentions this.]

[sanguineheels]

[She nods, under no illusion that what she expects is something that is difficult to accomplish.]

Sometimes when that's all you have it's when you need to believe in it the most. My friends and I have done amazing things when we work together.

Have you now? What sort of things? [He can't help but be curious really. This girl seems one of those kind, delicate little souls. Interesting.]

[sanguineheels]

Mm.. My friends and I are exorcists. We fight akuma. [she taps her fingers to her chin slightly.] Even though it looked bad for a while, when we worked together, we were able to repel an attack from the order. We wouldn't have been able to do that if we'd only tried our hardest for ourselves.

[intogold]

Those words are a bit strange to me, deary. But still! [Little giggle here as he wiggles his fingers about.] It does sound rather impressive, oh yes.
