[Well well, this little communicator was invaluable. Oh yes, people shared and shared and shared. And Rumpelstiltskin listened. He's only just arrived, but he that hasn't stopped him from paying attention, from learning how this little thing worked. Now though, he flips his own on to share a bit himself. The video shows his strange smiling face, but before he manages to speak, he laughs, all at once, a sudden explosion of a trilling little sound.] This is terribly interesting, isn't it?

Tell me, has anyone else noticed... [A little pause here and he wiggles his fingers.] familiar faces that aren't actually familiar here? I just don't know what to make of it. [This was a lie. He'd already decided to use it to his advantage. Oh there were ways to do this; he was sure of it. He was still working it through though.]

But since we're speaking of familiarity, let me introduce myself. [A toothy grin that was largely not as reassuring as he might have hoped.] My name is Rumpelstiltskin and I am... a purveyor of necessities and fondest desires and useful magics. If you find yourself in need of the unfindable, well, I humbly... [He ducks his head in a bit of a mock bow, undermined a bit by another laugh.] offer my services. Of course, bear in mind, all things, especially magical, have their price. One can't do business for nothing!

[Whatever the official explanation is. he wasn't particularly paying attention to the small fluffy thing that gave him a tour. Another explosive little giggle.] But I wonder if it isn't part of a curse I was watching roll into motion just before I left. Unexpected, but! No sense crying over spilled milk.

[The music comes first, flowing and smooth and perfect, piano at its finest. Only then does the communicator show the source of the sound, a man in white and silver seated at the instrument. His eyes flicker away occasionally - to the keys, to the walls and their sheer curtains, to the communicator.

His smile is almost taunting.]

[ He smiles, recognizing the name almost instantly. Oh, wouldn't this be interesting, something else indeed. ] It's an absolute pleasure Mister Rumpelstiltskin. [ Mirrors his bow, head tilting forward just enough to shadow the smirk now splitting his face in half. ] We're in the same business, it seems, ... [ Looks back up and bares his fangs with a chuckle. ] I do think I'm going to enjoy seeing you in action, my Friend, ... [ He's not bothered to mask his aura too much, so Rumpelstiltskin might realize that he's not particularly human. ]

[Well well! It was seldom, oh so very seldom, that monsters smiled their true smiles. This was fascinating, and more than a little intriguing. He lifts a hand to tap at his chin thoughtfully.]

The same business, is it? Well, it is always interesting to meet... a kindred spirit. [Something like that anyway.]

But, deary, you have me at a disadvantage! [A grin, all teeth, no warmth.] Might I have your name?

I haven't noticed any familiar but unfamiliar faces since being here... [she sounds thoughtful for a moment.] Only the two of my friends who managed to arrive here before I did.

[she tilts her head to the side slightly.] You deal in magic? [magic is still somewhat a foreign concept to her, though she's experienced some since arriving, it's a whole lot different from innocence, that's for sure.]

Oh no? Well, perhaps just me then! [Here he shrugs his shoulders with a casually manic little laugh.] Well, deary, how nice to have friends nearby.

Yes I do. Among other things. But magic does tend to be what people want.

[there's a small tilt of her head as she watches the strange man on the screen. She can't quite figure him out, but he doesn't seem dangerous.] It's strange though, that you would experience something like that. There are apparently a lot of worlds out there, perhaps they're from some place similar to your home?

[as for magic, she smiles and shakes her head.] I suppose that could be true. [she's thoughtful for a moment.] There's no magic where I come from, but I think people wishing for miracles is similar.

[Saleh ponders this carefully. He finds it odd and rather suspicious that someone he had never seen in this world was offering such a thing upon arrival. He also has difficulty coming up with what desires can be fulfilled, and what necessities can't be fulfilled on one's own.]

That's right. Or really, anything anyone wants that is within my power to provide.

[Oh but he had to offer upon arrival. If he didn't start crafting a reputation in this place, establish his power and his relationships, then he would be at a disadvantage. And Rumpelstiltskin had learned long ago to loathe being at a disadvantage.]

Back home it tends to be silly things. An heir to a kingdom. A replacement when that heir goes and gets himself stabbed by a barbarian. A potion to forget heartbreak, a trip to a beautiful ball and a road out of a life of drudgery and suffering. Protection. So many different things!

[Ah, but there's a question.] Oh all sorts of prices, deary. Depends on the deal! And on the person the deal is with. But I have no interest in trivial things like money. I prefer more unique sorts of compensation.
