[And onto the video screen comes a grinning face, looking just a bit excited. But then, he has something in his conniving little head. He can't quite seem to help it.

Or maybe he can. Half of his actions are a carefully kept facade. But either way, here's the grin and the video feed fidgets just a bit as he sets it down on a table.]

Good afternoon to everyone! I... am looking for something.

I think I'm getting the general lay of this place. Yesyes, it's starting to make sense. Fascinating as it is. Strange as it is. But I've yet to find a certain something I would rather like to acquire.

So tell my, dearies, can anyone tell me where I might find a spinning wheel?

I may have to go to the press with this one, it is that shocking a reveal. ( she chuckles )

Settling in, yes. And soon you'll hear the pitter-patter of little feet. ( she smiles almost sincerely, that is, until it turns into a wickedly amused grin. ) Or large ones, depending on whom you have as customers.

Truly scandalous, deary. The world will never be the same.

[He falls silent at that. Wh-what now. And then when it becomes QUITE OBVIOUS that he's been trolled, he laughs, waving a hand.] I cater to all sorts and sizes of customers, of course. It's bad business to discriminate.

( she laughs, thoroughly amused at his reaction. then nods to him, approving of his nondiscriminatory business rules. ) What an excellent businessman.

[A high pitched, manic little giggle. He can't quite keep him still.] Of course I am. I'm the best at what I do, deary. At all the things I do.

Oh, ( she chuckles. ) I believe you.

Well, if you aren't partial to this room, I suppose I'll have it.

Then consider it yours. [He nods in agreement with that, looking around a bit and then across the hall.] I'll take that one there. It's a little less window-y anyway. [Much better for him.]

Ah, right. ( she nods softly )

You're issues with light in your life.

[He inclines his head in a little nod.] Yes, yes. My issues.

Though, it's gotten somewhat better, than it used to be.

Oh? ( Belle smiles in his direction. it might be nice to know he's let a little light into his life, even if she's not there to share it with him — according to his 'timeline.' ) Did you draw your own curtains then, with me no longer there to do it for you, hm?

Yes well, I had this girl keeping my house who pulled down my curtains. I never did bother blocking it all up so thoroughly again.

[All her doing, really.]

( she clicks her tongue to tsk at him. )

What a terrible girl, leaving you to your own devices.

Well yes, it was quite unprofessional. [A pause and he looks a bit more seriously.] On my part, that is.

Come now, firing the help is a part of the boss' job.

( she shrugs, attempting to be lighthearted. )

I can offer my resume though, should you need it for a rehire.

Of course, resumes are required. As well as [He holds up a finger with a flourish and leans a bit heavily on the rolling of the next "r"] references!

( Belle laughs, lifting her hands to push her hair behind her ears before folding them neatly over her tummy, threading fingers together. )

Well, I've only had the one boss and he's a bit of a recluse, but I'll see if I can locate him for you.

Do your best, now! Recluse or no, I'm sure he has quite a bit of insight on this matter.

[He steps towards her with a grin.] Just like old times, hmm?

Oh, I think I can find him rather easily.

( with that, she baps his chest lightly, playfully. ) I just hope that I get a good review.

( she smiles ) I would not have it any other way, Rumpelstiltskin.

I can't imagine him having anything but rave reviews for you, my dear.

[Oh... that touches his dark little cold heart. But instead of saying this, he grins, that manic, off-kilter grin.] Nor would I.

With that attitude, are you certain I even need his reviews?

( she blushes pink just sightly. ) I'm glad to hear it.

One can't be too careful. Good help is so hard to find! But very well, we'll waive the references and resume this time.

[He inclines his head just a bit, acknowledgment.]

Should there be a third rehire required, I'll be sure to provide them then, mm?

( for now, she'll take the 'rehire' happily. )

Yes, we'll see to it at that point.

But I hope this is the last hiring I need to do. It's such a difficult tedious process. [Little laugh here.]

I hope so, too. I haven't much elsewhere to go if I manage to lose this job again. ( chuckling )

Well, I think your job security will be pretty impressive, deary. [He grins at her.]

( she raises her brows, though ) Who are you meant to speak with to purchase this building? Do we even know?
