☠ CLAUSTROPHOBIA :: тєηтαтινєℓу тяαρт | video → action: opeɴ тo αll.
I am sure that many of you have noticed the strange effects the mysterious fog is having on everyone... I believe it best to stay inside and, if possible, away from all doors and windows. [ for what sebastian hopes are obvious reasons. ] If you happen to be in Traverse Town or by my Bakery please let me know immediately. I have created something of a safe haven in its basement and there is still plenty of room left. [ looks aside as his tone drops to that of a whisper. ] ...let's hope it leaves as swiftly as it came.
( ooc | ** ammended ** you can reply to the feed as normal, but for the action bit i'd like you to assume that sebastian, or somebody else, has let your character inside and lead them into the basement. NO NEED TO REPLY TO THE INTRO BIT ANYMORE. from there you may do as you please. threadhop and threadjack to your heart's content. feel free to also post new comments ( with headings! ) about what you character is doing or what your character would like to do. think of this like a party log, ...just with the aforementioned tweak. )

It's a relief to see that you're here too Miss Granger. [She looked quite absorbed in those tomes. From his vantage point he was able to read some of the titles..]
You seem to have all the subjects covered as well.
no subject
Yes, would you care for a book? It sure helps beat the time.

Once I'm certain you're all right, perhaps.

I'm fine. Honest. Please sit.

[She was quite dismissive about the whole affair.. whatever had happened to her must have been too painful to discuss.] As long as you're sure, I've been learning that you are not one to be easily dissuaded. [Just like when she was determined give those pastries to him for less than their actual value. He did take a seat near her.]
Which of these tomes is your favorite?

Would you mind if I read some of your books? It seems we'll be down here for an extended period of time.

I brought them down here for that purpose. I have so many from home. Anything in particular you wish to read?

[The selection was making it difficult..] How thoughtful. There are a few subjects I would like to look into. I think I'll start with the history books. [Lets just see how similar the worlds were...]

[Stopping on a page, he scanned it and quietly commented] I knew his parliamentary career wouldn't last much longer..

[Slipping up closer she asked]
Now where can I find a lovely purse like that, hmm~?

You have found yourself a comfortable spot. It must have taken ages to carry all of these books down here.
May I?
[Leonardo asked while indicating one of the books that was the nearest to him. He wanted to see just what kind of books she might have over there.]
no subject
Please do. I brought them for everyone. I get so frustrated being cooped up for too long. At least one can sore through an entire universe with imagination, right? [She beckoned to the cushions. There's plenty to go around!]
no subject
For now at least she had successfully hidden the book she was reading from him. ]
That is very kind of you. And si, we might not be able to fly like the birds yet but with a little imagination anything is possible!
[Wow, would you look at that castle! A page in the book Leonardo holds reveals a full color image of a glorious looking castle in Spain. ]
This photography thing is truly amazing. I will have to try it for myself some time.

For a long time, artists as talented as yourself were the ones who could immortalize visions. The photograph was technically first invented in 1827. And, about flying...
[She moved out of her cushion to grab a book.]
I'm not sure if I should show you, but I think it's something you would appreciate. [She settled right beside him holding on to another book.]
Aviation has reached such high levels of complexity. We've managed to break the sound barrier. Mankind has even traveled to the moon!

[But then again... ]
There are those ships here that can travel between the worlds. I have not seen one yet, but so many have mentioned them, they must be real. Who would have thought such a thing would even be possible.
[He leaned closer as if discussing some kind of great conspiracy. ]
I have observed the moon many times in the night sky. It is so unlike our Earth, would it be possible to just open the door of your craft and step out? I say this because it does not seem to have the...
[Searching for a word here... ]
...same atmosphere of the Earth.
And flight itself! That has always been a fascination of mine. Were humans actually able to master flight?
