I am sure that many of you have noticed the strange effects the mysterious fog is having on everyone... I believe it best to stay inside and, if possible, away from all doors and windows. I have created something of a safe haven in its basement and there is still plenty of room left. 'nest' of books....

[Hermione wasn't fond of being cooped up but she had a wound to take care of and for now, she had collected some cushions from upstairs and brought them down below for their comfort. She had assorted them in a corner taking her own seat. She was still a little shaken up from the events earlier but reading always eased her mind. Around her, she had taken out the books in her bottomless purse for anyone who wanted read. There were books on magic, books on medicine, on chemistry, biology, anatomy, physics, history of both the muggle world and the human world, and some other random good literature she packed just in case they ever got too bored. She was reading to herself. So peaceful.]

So what are you reading? is it interesting?

Very. It's a history book. [So what. A new arrival has made her want to read things again. She hasn't looked up from her book.]

[Ciel had found himself entertained by some of the games.. much to his surprise given his company but he also had a penchant for reading. When he caught sight of the array of subjects he couldn't help but grow intrigued. He tended to read a lot of fiction.. but he wondered if the magic books might hold something more valuable. The history books could give more insight on Hermione's world as well.. what to choose, what to choose.]

You were a very secretive individual. Sue her. She eyed the piles of books and figured telling a renaissance individual that it had all been possible by 'magic' just wouldn't end well. She smiled.]

Please do. I brought them for everyone. I get so frustrated being cooped up for too long. At least one can sore through an entire universe with imagination, right? [She beckoned to the cushions. There's plenty to go around!]

For now at least she had successfully hidden the book she was reading from him. ]

This photography thing is truly amazing. I will have to try it for myself some time.

For a long time, artists as talented as yourself were the ones who could immortalize visions. The photograph was technically first invented in 1827. And, about flying...

Aviation has reached such high levels of complexity. We've managed to break the sound barrier. Mankind has even traveled to the moon!

I have observed the moon many times in the night sky. It is so unlike our Earth, would it be possible to just open the door of your craft and step out? I say this because it does not seem to have the...

And flight itself! That has always been a fascination of mine. Were humans actually able to master flight?
