You found me... [Leaning back in he hugs Soubi as tight as he can.]

[The warmest sensation he has ever felt blooms in his heart and strengthens his limbs. He hugs Ritsuka as if he plans never to let go, as if he hopes to fuse himself together with his young master. The heart-pounding fear of the last hour flees away, leaving him in blissful, weightless freefall. Nothing seems to matter anymore as he presses Ritsuka's warm, living body to his own for what feels like hours.

But finally he realizes (dully) that he needs to take stock. He pulls Ritsuka off of himself and holds him out several inches, studying his face.

Ritsuka, you had a cut above your eye yesterday. How did it heal so quickly?

[Ritsuka lets Soubi hold him for as long as he likes, for once he didn't have any complaints about the public display of affection. He missed him far too much to care, but surprisingly Soubi was the one to first break contact.]

My eye?

[He brings his and up to his brow and tries to remember what Soubi is talking about.]

I... came here with a cut, but it's long healed by now... Soubi? What's the last thing you remember?

[He frowns.]

I was leaving my apartment to come and see you. You had made me an omelet yesterday, so I was hoping to return the favor.

[But Ritsuka does not look like he has recently been swept away by a cloud of darkness recently. He does not look out of place in this utterly new land. He even has a strange pet. And his face... looks a bit different. Healthier. Less pale, no cuts. Almost... happier.]

How long have you been here, Ritsuka?

[Only a day after he was taken... He takes hold of Soubi's hands.]

[Soubi’s face is pale. His breath catches and his body becomes very stiff. He stares at Ritsuka in disbelief. Then, all at once, he yanks him back toward his chest for a hug. He clings tightly, as if afraid Ritsuka might be taken from his arms. His tone when he speaks is sorrowful.]

I’m sorry, Ritsuka. I’m sorry for leaving you alone.

W-wow! [Ritsuka looks surprised when Soubi suddenly pulls him back to his body.]

It's okay, I haven't been alone. Yuiko is here to.

[He gives his fighter a hug again to try and calm him. He found that contact usually helps to calm Soubi.] You couldn't help it, so don't be upset about it. Beside, I'm fine. This world is strange but very friendly.

[He strokes the back of Ritsuka's head gently, as if it was Ritsuka who needed soothing.]

I should have been here for you the whole time.

It couldn't be helped. No one knew this darkness stuff was coming and you're here now. That's all that important. You're not hurt are you?

[He shakes his head against Ritsuka's shoulder.]

No, I am not. But is it true that the Darkness has engulfed our planet?

[He doesn't want to upset Ritsuka more... but if it's true, Ritsuka will already know. And if it isn't true, it means that they have a hope of going back.

Although. Looking at Ritsuka now, how safe and happy he looks, away from his mother and away from a difficult life... maybe going back is not the best option. He will have to see how well Ritsuka really is doing here.]

It... seems that way, yes. [He rest his cheek against Soubi's head.]

They say they're working on a way to bring our homes back, but the way things are going, it looks like they're loosing worlds faster than they can save them...

[He glances over at the creature that has recently lost it's world.]

Minccino...

Are you afraid, Ritsuka?

[His eyes dart over toward where Ritsuka is looking.]

And... what sort of animal is that?

[Sometimes, but Ritsuka never liked to show fear. Even to his fighter.]

No, not really... I'm sad that home is gone and I can't see mom, but this place isn't that scary. Aside form the Heartless.

Hm? Oh, um, I'm not sure, but it kind of looks like a creature from one of my video games. A pokemon... I've never seen this one in any of my games though...

[His hug gets slightly tighter momentarily in a show of reassurance before he lets go to look at the strange animal.]

But how can there be a world in which pokemon are real? They were made up by a video game creator.

[Ritsuka knew this well and already felt safer with Soubi near, but he didn't intend to put the man in any unnecessary danger. HE just got him back, he wasn't about to lose him all over again.]

Well... there are a few things in this world that aren't supposed to be real.

[He kneels down to scoop the creature up.]

One being the King and Queen of these worlds... [He braces himself a little before saying this, because even he still can't believe it.]

They're Mickey and Minnie Mouse...

[He frowns.]

Well. That is odd.

[He looks down at the creature.]

But I suppose that it's something we must get used to if we went to return home. What is your pet's name?

... [Soubi was taking this all, really well. Ritsuka was in denial for a least a day before accepting this odd situation. He stares up at his fighter in slight awe.]

H-huh? Oh! I might change the name I picked... [He blushes and tries to avoid the question. Soubi would probably tease him forever if he knew that Ritsuka named the creature after him.]

[Soubi isn't easily surprised anymore. If Ritsuka says that the king and queen are Mickey and Minnie Mouse... then they probably are. Even if he can't imagine either character making laws or holding court.

But... that blush means something. He grins.]

What name had you picked?

[He makes a small disgruntled sound and turns a darker shade of red.] I-It's not important. I'm going to change it!

Minccino?

...Yeah, to that!

[Oh, now he has to know. There is nothing that will distract him anymore.]

Was it named after someone?

I-I didn't say that! [Ritsuka starts trying to walk past him. The usually sleek looking cat tail was now frizzed in annoyance.]

C-come on, lets get you set up in your room!

[He follows him dutifully, still grinning.]

Yes, Ritsuka. But it might still be true. Is it?

It's not important, Soubi!

[The creature perks up when it hears the name, looking at Ritsuka and await orders. The boy tries to ignore the action or the pokemon's staring.]

[Soubi's eyes move quickly to the creature. He just responded to Ritsuka... no. Not to Ritsuka. To Soubi's name. He bursts out laughing.]

Soubi? Is that his name?

[He leans down to look at the creature.]

Hello, Soubi.

[Busted...]

Don't make a big deal out of it...

[Ritsuka shoots the pet an annoyed glare when it raises it's pawn in response to Soubi's greeting.]
