[Ugh. Not only was he beaten in a fight by some younger girl, he also bears the feelings of coming out of darkness. Again. It never gets any easier. There was something else, something odd about things said in a couple of encounters he's had, but he doesn't feel like bringing any of that up just yet. Kain doesn't really... want to face any people right now, but he feels he owes this apology as an act of penance. So he'll do this and then he intends to vanish. Forever if he can manage.]

[He'd vowed never to turn Dark again, and now look what's happened.]

To anyone I've harmed or spoken harshly toward, I apologize. There's no excuse for my recent behavior...

[For the most part, Rosa still isn't all that sure exactly what happened. She remembers things, but particularly in regards to Kain, she hasn't the foggiest clue what came over him. She's looking at him, quietly subdued and pauses for a long time before speaking up.]

[Seeing this brings up a whole host of different emotions within Golbez. On the one hand, there's anger and hatred and disgust at Kain- anyone horrible enough to attempt to pose as Zemus is worthy of nothing but his scorn and hatred.

Yet if Golbez had not taken control of Kain in the first place, he would not have the dark side that drove the dragoon to strike out against others so. Kain would never have committed such a horrible act if it weren't for Golbez's own actions. So perhaps Kain did well to remind him of what he really was, in the midst of his innocence...

He isn't sure what to think. So he says nothing.]

[That silence says more to Kain than anything else. He's... deeply horrified by what the darkness drove him to do this time. In Golbez's case he's torn between remorse and thinking that it was deserved.]

[So there's more awkward silence in return.]

[He's not going to forgive Kain, and after only a moment of silence it becomes obvious that Kain isn't about to apologize for it.]

[With that, he simply ends the communication, to spare both of them more awkwardness.]

[Kain immediately thinks to seek out Dany and her dragons, once he's finished meeting with Rosa. He has a lot on his mind right now. He'd also like some time to brood. But he feels like he owes this to Dany, to explain himself a little and to apologize for his behavior all week. She wasn't the target of his darkness so much, but he still feels bad all the same.]

[So he looks around until he finally comes across her location. He finally approaches slowly, a little bit wary given how he's acted.]

Daenerys? Can we speak...?

[Kain looks to the resting dragons, as always a much more tender expression for then, briefly there and then gone in an instant. He sighs, then looks at Daenerys. There's considerable regret in his tone.]

...I wish to apologize, and explain myself if you'll listen. I realize it's no excuse. I take full responsibility for my behavior. But... you deserve to know the truth about me.
