Just a reminder folks. So many of you are confused new arrivals to this place, but let me assure you that if you need help with anything, Hades is here. Sure there is a small, insignificant, little price to be paid for my help but, its nothing you will miss!
If you are up for a deal, have a burning question you need the answer to, a small dispute you need to find a solution to, look me up. I am always willing to help.

You're saying it's Neptune's? [Well that does fit, at least as remotely possible.]

Poseidon actually. He’s the one with the magical trident of great power… or he was… until that merman made off with it and decided to make himself a King.

[She recalls both having them, which is of course what makes this plausible. She nods.] Go on.

See, that is why I was looking for some one with water skills to go and collect the trident. The merman set up his castle underwater and its not like me or my brothers could just sneak up on him. Nah, he would see us coming a mile away and disappear with that trident before we could get it back from him!
Gods are too well known to get away with that anyway.

But, you were right. All that for one little question just isn’t enough. I don’t do this for everyone, but why not name your own price?

I'm here because I want to see what you're offering to these others. I can ask my questions to other people. [They're in early stages; of course she's downplaying her interest.]

Suit yourself. I just hope Poseidon doesn’t loose his temper. He could tear a water world like that apart in no time… and all those poor innocent merpeople… they wouldn’t stand a chance.

[The more they get away from the basic question of trident's owner, the more he starts to make sense. It's easy to believe one of the gods would lose their temper in that way.

She reminds herself this is Hades.]

I want to help. But I don't feel I know enough yet.

[Of course, she could try contacting Neptune - Poseidon, she must remember, here - herself, or Triton. She could even try to smooth over the situation. But not while she knows so little about it.]

What more do you need to know?

I want to hear it from Poseidon that it was truly stolen and his.

Then it looks like you are heading to Atlantica anyway. That was the direction he said he was going when we last spoke… and the reason why I was trying to find a way to stop him.
If I could just get that trident back before he decided to use his power all of this could be avoided.

[Good. Then whatever she decides to do, she'll end up keeping the only actual promise she's made: to go there related to this business. (And, admittedly, because of world of water is more than appealing to the Soldier of Ice.)]

I’m sure you will… Just watch out for that King Triton. He can be very… gruff with visitors and he does know how to use the magic of that trident.

I'll be careful. [And she'll be with her friends. She'll talk to Makoto and Setsuna before anything else. Given Setsuna's conflicts with Hades already, she has a feeling she can get a more clear view of what the god of the Underworld might intend with this - aside from the obvious.]

[Meanwhile… he will just be dispatching a few minions to make sure the welcome this girl and her known allies (made easy to spot by the matching outfits) received a very warm welcome from King Triton if they arrived on that world. How easy it is to make hatred grow with just a few simple impersonations and wicked bad deeds. ]

[She hears that tone. She'll be wary; she already is. Of course, making their way rough only assures there's no chance of Hades getting the trident - which is probably for the best all things considered.

But that doesn't help Mercury decide how to handle it. Well, she has time; and help soon enough. They can discuss it together.]
