[It's Setsuna, who seems to be unaware that her comm is on. Indeed, she seems to be focusing on something off-screen. And whatever it is that's there, she seems utterly horrified.]

What--you're--!

[Which is followed by a punch. The communicator shows Setsuna flying, falling to the ground and clutching her chest. Standing over her is a shapely, but white, leg wearing a red high heel. Dark Blue and red and pink fabrics swirl around it as it steps forward.]

What's wrong? Aren't you glad to see me? Your friend?

[The leg goes to roundhouse kick Setsuna. She blocks it and throws the leg back, but doesn't return an attack. It's quite clear she's in shock and unable - or perhaps unwilling - to fight back.]

This can't be...you can't be like this...!

Can't I be?

[The communicator, as if by magic, slowly scrawls backwards until both Setsuna and her attacker can be seen. Her attacker merely sneers back at the injured woman as she struggles to get up.]

You were given a chance to save me, and you refused. You were my friend and you didn't try hard enough to get me out! So now, I've become one with the darkness again. When it comes to dealing with you, I think I like it better.

No...Small Lady--

[Another roundhouse kick. This time, it connects to Setsuna's face, and she falls down hard. The heel then digs into Setsuna's back, right where, front-wise, her broken rib was.]

GHHgh...!! S-small Lady...!! This isn't--please, stop!

No! I'll never forgive you for what you did! You think you're in pain, dear, pathetic little Puu? You have not even begun to feel pain!

[And with this, black energy begins to form in the woman's hands.]

Setsuna-san, Black Lady isn't here. [She's sure of that. Setsuna would have warned them. They'd have seen or felt something about her arrival. Something is not matching up here.]

[Much easier said than done. Once more Setsuna's thrown across the beach. She's practically a rag doll. She wasn't exactly trying to be that, or she wouldn't be if she were fully conscious at this point.]

[He doesn't recognize Setsuna as Sailor Pluto, of course. But the nature of the attack reminds him of many things- of Kain, for one. She'll probably get herself killed, if she continues not to act against her attacker.

His voice is sharp as a knife- reminiscent of the cold commands he once gave. Hopefully that will get through her shock.]

Do not simply sit there. Defend yourself.

[If only it were in her nature to attack Small Lady. But despite knowing what Black Lady is - she can't. This is still her friend, and--

--before she can even respond to Black Lady, much less to Golbez, she is given another hard blow to the chest. Her injuries being pinpointed and exploited for maximum pain does not make for a quick recovery.]
