Interesting, interesting, this event should be so very interesting~!

[Undertaker laughs with a maniacal glee and he shows off the impressively deep hole in the graveyard he is standing beside. ]

You are all invited to come and watch. Can Dante escape from six feet of dirt or will he remain forever buried alive~?
Come and watch with me~!

[Watching people be buried alive not your thing? Well, Undertaker has something to further sweeten the deal. ]

We can have tea and cookies while we watch~

[Oddly bone-shaped cookies… but you KNOW you want to be a spectator for this!]

[Undertaker cackles. ]

Now we just have to wait and see if he can escape~

Oh, you just wait. If I have to hunt you down in whatever afterlife your world has and have my stern talking to with you there, it will not be pleasant. I'm getting you out of that blasted thing.

[And there's a final muffled sound as the fresh dirt Undertaker just put in the pit fell right into the coffin after Dante broke it. He should have probably thought of this more thoroughly. For now, his communicator is off.]

[Obi-Wan stiffens and huffs, staring hard at the communicator after it turns off completely. And he's going to keep standing there, his eyes flicking between it and the patch of soil that he prays won't be Dante's grave.

To the untrained eye, he looks... mostly calm, but his brows are furrowed, meeting in the middle in a taut line of worry and frustration and... Why are nearly all of his friends impulsive and/or reckless? One of these days, one of them is going to give him a heart attack and he hopes they'll feel guilty, blast it.]

[Hear that, Obi-Wan? Dead. Silence. For a bout a good while.]

[And the longer he waits, the more agitated and worried Obi-Wan looks. Eventually, he gets to the point where he seems like he's about to have a heart attack. It's been too long and he's becoming increasingly concerned with Dante's well-being.]

Dante, this isn't funny! You get out here right now, or I'm digging you out myself! [And he will. ~~WITH THE FORCE, IF HE MUST.~~]

[And Undertaker who had been watching the whole time just hands Obi-wan a shovel. If Dante can't escape by himself... Undertaker wins. ]

[And right when all hope was probably lost and a normal human would have probably passed out of lack of air, the ground burst. Dirt and wood went flying before settling and a hand crawled out from the disheveled soil. It was red, scaly, and clawed. For brief moments as the ground shook, the hand glowed red before finally changing back to a humans hand. A head popped out of the dirt, silver hair covered in dirt. He was grinning like a 5 year old on Christmas day.]

That...[Long nice inhale.] Wasn't so bad if you don't count getting dirt in your mouth.

Oh? [Obi-Wan blinks at the shovel, takes it, then blinks at the Undertaker. He would have asked why he was giving him a shovel if his winning the bet depended on Dante dying down there, but there were more pressing matters at hand. He started towards the grave, only to reel himself to a stop when the ground burst and revealed... a strange looking hand. His worry didn't completely vanish until it returned to a normal hand and he saw Dante's overly confident face show up to grin in triumph at them.]

You're all right! Oh, thank the stars! [He's relieved and it shows-- for a moment. Then his face turns completely angry and it seems like Obi-Wan might throw that shovel at Dante instead.] What kind of brainless idiot buries himself alive?! You could have died! Do you have any idea how much you worried people? [And by people, Obi-Wan means himself.]

[And he was screaming at him. Regardless, he's grinning, crawling out of the hole and brushing the dirt off his coat.]

I told you I wasn't going to die and I told you I could do it. You didn't believe me so that's your fault not mine. I know you care about me~

[Obi-Wan is a nag. The end.]

How in the blazes was I supposed to know? You just up and did it on a whim! [Huff!] Yes, maybe. But I don't know why.

I didn't do it on a whim, I had planned it all out. Sure, I didn't know what the outcome would be but I knew I had a chance.

Stop denying it. You like me.

[BIGGEST EYEROLL EVER, DANTE. He's also just going to skip right over both of those comments, set the shovel aside, and approach him.]

You didn't hurt anything breaking out of there, did you?

Nothin'. I'm as healthy as can be. A little hungry, but that's my life's story.

Then what was that... thing that happened with your hand?

What do you mean, what hand?

[He just grins.]

I could have sworn your hand-- ... [Sigh. He doesn't like that grin, but he really has no idea what he saw.] There's something strange about you, Dante. I'm not sure I like it. [And he squints suspiciously to emphasize.]
