[The shimmering hues of blue and whites almost blinded Kotetsu, but once the initial shock faded he found himself standing in the middle of a large ice rink. It was cold, so very cold. Kotetsu could literally see his breath before him in the form of a smoky mist.]

G-Geez! It's frickin' freezing here!

[Blowing into his shivering hands, Kotetsu paused once he saw a figure laying on the ice. At first, he swore his brown eyes were playing tricks on him. He couldn't make out the person's face but he could tell it was the silhouette of a girl.]

H-Hey?

[He called out to them but they didn't acknowledge him.]

Konnichiwa? Hello?

[A frustrated sigh escaped the old man's lips.]

Is this some kind of dream or somethin? This doesn't make any sense...

[Kotetsu let out a frustrated sigh as he made his approach towards the girl. Walking on ice is a tad tricky, so the poor guy nearly takes a dive a few times before he reaches the middle of the ice rink.]

Oi, girl! Can you hear me? Can you--Bwah?

[He trailed off immediately once the girl started to moan. She was wearing a purple skating leotard, one that had a little pink polka dots on it and a matching skirt. While the outfit was something typical that a child would wear, something about the colors and pattern reminded Kotetsu of someone.]

Polka...dots?

[Taking one step closer, suddenly the ceiling above the rink caves in and glass comes tumbling down on their heads.]

W-WHAT?! What the hell is goi---

[A terrible scream erupts from the girl once she raised her head upward. Her familiar bright brown eyes are filled with fear and tears streak down her delicate cheeks. The girl's hair moved erratically in the wind, with little glass shards now dotting her chestnut hued hair. Before, Kotetsu didn't recognize the child but now that her face was finally revealed to him; a sense of dread began to pool within his stomach.]

KAEEEEDE!

[Kaede looks back at him, her innocent eyes filled with such shock.]

OTOUSAAAAN!

[Reaching out her hand to him, Kotetsu almost reached it until several steel beams came crashing down on his little girl. Her blood spewed forth from the impact, splattering all across Kotetsu's shocked face. ]

K-Kaede...?

[He was standing in the middle of the ice rink with his hand still outstretched before him, pointing towards the rumble that claimed the life of his ten year old daughter. Frozen in that pose for a minute or two, Kotetsu suddenly fell to his knees. Kaede's blood dripped down his cheeks as he stared at the carnage before him with a haunted gaze. Unable to speak, unable to even cry, Kotetsu just sat there in a daze as his mind tried to process what happened to his baby girl.]

[Even though he knew this had to be impossible, Kotetsu couldn't fight back the overwhelming sadness that took root. He remembered this scene, he knew Kaede didn't die like this. He knew his partner saved his daughter when the incident originally happened, but were was Barnaby now?

Why is his little girl now buried under piles of steel and iron?]

Kaede...?

[He could've sworn he heard her voice just now.]

Kaede, is that you!?

[It seems he accidentally confused Kino's voice for that of Kaede's. The two were slightly similar to each other but both had glaringly obvious differences. However, the voices were similar to him...]

Sorry, Kotetsu-san. I'm not... I'm not Kaede.

[Ami hadn't been content to just sit and watch, any more than Mako could be; she crosses Makoto's path before too long and gives her a quick, serious, nod.]

We need to help. [Offscreen, so only Makoto can see, she holds up her transformation wand. A silent suggestion.]

Let's go!

[After roaming around his hotel room looking for the mech suit (http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1261886) Saitou created for him, Wild Tiger was finally dressed to impress and crush the criminals! However, today's villains seemed to be these adorably cute little duckies.]

Eh?

[He stares at the duck that is laying in the middle of the floor.]

This is all YOUR fault? [The thing just lays there motionless with the black eyes of a dead fish.] ...This reminds me of the "Mad Bear" stuff.

[Letting out a deep sigh, Tiger easily crushed that duck with his boot and then rushed out of the room. If there were more ducks like that around, then he needed to start hunting them down now.]

I have to hurry!

[Finally making it to the hotel's lobby, Wild Tiger bolted outside like a streak of lightning.]

[Transforming right after Jupiter, Mercury keeps an alert lookout for their friend.]

From the video, it looked as though he was somewhere near...

[She breaks off as the mech suit comes into view. She stares blankly.]

[He was in the middle of dashing across the city until he spotted two girls dressed in strange frilly outfits.]

[The mech slowed down as he approached the duo.]

Isn't it a little late for cosplaying?

[Just like the Senshi, Tiger couldn't recognize them at all in those ridiculous outfits. There was something magical about all the glitter, tiaras, and nail polish that concealed their true identities. ~~It's a superhero thing.~~]

Are you two looking for someone?

[Wait. If it's a mech suit, obviously someone is piloting it. But instead of answering, she takes the cautious approach herself. ~~Not that she wouldn't give a lot to see how the suit works.~~]

Who are you?

That depends on how you answer our question.

[Wild Tiger let out a frustrated sigh as he flipped up the visor of his helmet. Still wearing his signature black and white mask, the hero stared at the duo with a pair of glowing blue eyes.]

Listen, I don't have time to explain but there's an army of ducks causin' havoc around town!

It's dangerous here! The illusions they create can hurt people.

[She believes him, being the one who told him that herself. But not realizing it's him, she notices the glaring omission. The suspicious omission, in the circumstances.]

Then please tell us who you are.

And who says you aren't one and the same?

[The hero took a step back when the thunderclouds began to form right over his head.]

I-It was just clear skies a moment ago...

[Glancing back over at the girls again, Tiger let out a sigh.]

I would never do anything like this! I'm a hero, after all. The name's "Wild Tiger"!

[She doesn't know it; but she's new. She can't expect to. She does know she hasn't been warned about anyone by that name.

She also has a very simple solution.]

Then why not come with us awhile? We heard about the attacks [She avoids identifying herself by saying how] and came to investigate and offer our help.

[And meanwhile, he's right under their eyes until they can be sure of him.]

If you try anything, I won't hesitate to strike you down.

[Holy shi--Is the girl in the green a NEXT? The storm clouds that magically appeared dispersed suddenly, almost as if they weren't ever there to begin with.]

[Unsure what to make of that nifty magic trick, Tiger's gaze focused on the girl in blue again.]

Alright, we'll work together for now but don't get in my way!

[He frowned a little.]

I hope...my friends are okay.

We won't be in your way. We're capable of fighting. [She says it quite mildly. She's more concerned with the battle itself, rather than pride. She can pull Jupiter back if need be, too. Ahem.]

And we'll find and help your friends, too.

Time is of the essence. Come on.

[Lowering his visor again, Wild Tiger was back in action. He knew that he only had a few minutes to spare before his powers fade, so he has to act now. Tiger hoped his new found allies could keep up with him as he bolted down the street as quickly as he could.

He would've used his full powers to dart in-between the avenues but he didn't want to lose the two girls.]

Move it, ladies!!!!

[Bossy, isn't he? Jupiter is definitely going to zap him a few times.]

[Mercury fits her pace to Wild Tiger's, running quicker than her own normal speed, spurred on by the need to keep up and not lag behind. To pull her own weight. To prove her words that she wouldn't be in the way.

Running this way makes her breaths come fast, but she keeps on and doesn't seem to tire herself overmuch; senshi endurance is a blessing.]

Don't be rude. We're working with you, not answering to you.

[Now that was unexpected! Tiger wouldn't have ever guessed that these girls would be able to keep up with him. They were running around town in heels and skirts, not track clothes.]

[Right then and there, poor Tiger was electrocuted by the green one while dressed from head to two in steel. That wasn't a pleasant experience, not at all.]

[Letting out a huff, he was about to continue down the street until he spotted several ducks nearby.]

[ Rei had seen Makoto and Ami leave in a hurry, and after seeing Kotetsu's feed on her communicator, she understood why. Telling Minako and Usagi that she was going out to help, she opted to take a different route towards Kotetsu's location.

He may have been kind of a moron, but he was still her friend, and she was going to help out.

She was headed towards them the opposite way, and she came across the ducks around the same time they did. ] Mars Flame Sniper!!
