Okay. Alright. Let me get this straight. That dream I had about the freaking Apocalypse coming really wasn't a dream and it was actually Darkness eating my world. Because there's apparently an infinite number of other worlds out there, including ones that are supposed to be complete works of fiction.

[Another laugh and then...]

Either this is some really elaborate joke or someone slipped a powerful hallucinogenic drug into my food! Either way, I'm ONTO you, pal! [He points into the feed with a scowl.] You're not going to get away with this, and when I find you, you'll be crapping bullets!

*EYEROLL. Not that she can really blame him, this is insane.* Use your senses. Even if you've been hit by a powerful drug trip it'll have a limited effective span in you, and I don't know much about drugs but I doubt they can completely replace reality like this.

You can work from the point of view that you're insane if you want, but it isn't very productive. You're better off thinking I'm real and you're sane unless you have a history of mental disease.

I get it, the world here is... weird, and wrong, and insane. Nobody seems to know how to cut two sleeves the same length, or make an article of clothing without at least eight zippers, I am tired of hearing the sound 'kupo' from those ridiculous bears, and the money here has a stupid name and a stupid shape to it.

But at least I, a 'high school kid,' didn't make up elaborate persecution complex to hide from the truth. I'm not nuts enough to come up with this place, and nobody hates me this much to bother with something so elaborate and stupid. This is reality for us now, accept it. Maybe then, and if you act reasonable for one moment I might respect you.

Also we're not on Earth and I'm Canadian, so you're officer of the law status doesn't mean squat.

Let's just, for a moment, assume you're right. That... everything that shop clerk told me was true. And basically my world got... eaten by shadow creatures.

That begs the question: why didn't anyone know about this before now? And I don't want to hear any of that doom's day prediction bullshit, either! It's not even close to being one of those so-called "predicted days", anyway.

I'm afraid you were not dreaming about that.

So I've been told. I'd still just like to know who I need to shoot.

Dreams are relevant, either way. Whether they be drug induced or natural ones that occur during the course of a night. Of course, the natural ones hold more weight and meaning.

But all dreams have meaning. Some are even prophetic. Dreams interconnect worlds and can even serve as communication between worlds.

Anyone that witnessed this darkness and stuck to talking about it would be assumed to have had a psychotic episode or something. If they're smart they'd sit on it to avoid the loony bin.

Which doesn't do much for us right now, does it? We're stuck here and we will just have to deal. Unfortunately. Maybe we can bring some sanity to this place. Me bringing a bit more than you.

If you'd stop yelling, you'd find that everyone else is trying to get through this whole ordeal as well. No one wants to be stuck on these worlds--especially with a man like you--and separated from everything and everyone they love. But it happened.

Some of us are out risking our lives to find answers. What are you doing except accusing all the wrong people?

And believe me, if I could work the kind of magic that made you look like a fool, you wouldn't still be standing. I'd have tossed you into a pool of Heartless already.
