[After the moogle has shown Luke around, he's taken a few minutes before turning the communicator on. The Darkness had done something to the timelines of other worlds, apparently. It was a great temptation for Luke to just call out for his father and see when he had come from. Maybe it was early enough, maybe he could save him. Really save him. But what would the far-reaching consequences of that action be? Would it only make things worse somehow?]

My name is Luke. I am a Jedi Knight with the Alliance. If anyone else survived the destruction of the forest moon, please check in with me.

[He pauses.

Father... Obi-wan...

Do either of them hear? Do either of them even know him?]

And if anyone can tell me anything more about the Darkness and this place, I would appreciate it.

[His eyes widen. He's so young. He should have been prepared for that, but he really just wasn't. Of course, anything much later would have been Vader, so this is probably for the best.

[Anakin notices his reaction, but is unsure of what to make of it. He bows his head as if understanding, but he's actually changing the filters so that it's locked to Luke. When he looks at him again, it's with determination. He wants answers.]

I've seen people from my past too. But, I don't think it's a reason to avoid it. Actually, I think it's even more of a reason not to. Maybe this is our chance to do things right.

He looks away from the camera, his eyes closing.

He can't see what evil could come of stopping the Emperor from rising, from saving Anakin from ever becoming Vader.]

I'll provide as much information as I can.

You could think of the Darkness as a malevolent will of its own, that uses people susceptible to it to carry out its wishes, such as the destruction of these worlds.

However, the worlds represented here aren't finished. I believe they can be restored.

As long as there is still some good in those worlds, the malevolence can be driven out, so I don't disagree with you about that.

Yes, it's never a simple task to bring a single person back from that. I would imagine it would be even more difficult to bring a world back.

Hello, Luke. My name is Qui-Gon Jinn. Might I ask about this Alliance you speak of? As for this galaxy, I know no name for it, but the world you're on is called Traverse Town.

As for the Darkness, not much is actually known of it except what it does, if you've seen any small black creatures with golden eyes; they're creatures from that Darkness. They're called Heartless and it is best you exercise caution around them.

Certainly you may ask about it. Might I ask who you are, beyond your name? It's not one I'm familiar with.

Do you know if the Heartless are manifestations of the Darkness or if they are those that have fallen into the Darkness?

[Luke's lack of knowledge of him is a curious thing, and he can't help but wonder despite himself, just when the boy is from.]

A Jedi Master of the Jedi Order on Coruscant.

They're manifestations of it, I believe. I've fought a few back on Naboo and also in Traverse Town. When defeated they dissolve into smoke and vanish. It feels almost as if you're fighting something without solid substance from past experience.

The Alliance? [Perhaps it was some kind of Jedi thing she had yet to learn of, so she put the issue aside for the time being. She didn't recognize this man, but she knew there were also many Jedi she had yet to meet.] You'll find this galaxy harbors few Jedi, but I'm sure they'll be happy to have another on their side. I know I am.

It is the forest moon of Endor. It's where I was before I arrived here. It's a moon that's covered in a thick forest. There are a lot of animals that live on it.
