[Several days after his previous feed, Kotetsu appears again but this time with a smile on his face and the historical scenery of Port Royal as his backdrop. Somewhere between then and now, Kotetsu set voyage to Port Royal and let's just say that was a rather interesting ride.]

Those Gummi Ships are somethin' else, aren't they? [He chuckled lightly.] Happy thoughts? Really? If they really run on 'happy thoughts', then I'm goin' to go sailin' around the galaxy in no time!

[His laughter dies down a bit, but he's still all smiles.]

So, I got a question for some of you new folks. I know I'm not the only one here wanderin' all over the place, so I was wonderin' if anyone would want to come here to Port Royal and do some exploring.

[Kotetsu's grin widens.]

Any takers? C'mon, guys! Don't leave me hangin'. I'm sure one of you guys feel up for the adventure.

[A part of Kotetsu wanted to ask if this fella was a fan of Rock Bison (http://tigerbunny.wikia.com/wiki/Rock_Bison), but he decided against it. He didn't want to offend his new potential adventure buddy, after all.

Realizing a little too late that his explanation regarding Port Royal was a tad lackluster, Kotetsu attempted again.]

Ah, well....

I mean that the city has an old architecture, much like...one of those ancient cities from my world. It's a little hard to explain, but the the style of the buildings around here have this sort of Renaissance flair.

[He paused briefly.]

[Ornate and ancient, is what he gets from it, though the explanation still references a world he isn't familiar with.]

What of the people, or the Heartless?

[He couldn't help but sigh right now. If Barnaby was here, he would have explained about Port Royal a lot better than he did.

Oh, well.]

Ah, the people? Well, the people here seem a little...well...weird? There's tons of pirates around and just as many of those black monster thingies!

A large number of Heartless, then.

[He doesn't sound displeased about that.]

And you wish to explore the Port. If you do not protest, then, I would join you.

Eh? You sound a little happy about that...

[Remembering exactly why he came all this way to Port Royal in the first place, Kotetsu couldn't help but feel the same. He wanted to test his powers against these ugly little squiggly monsters. After hearing about how tough the Heartless are from others, Kotetsu wanted to see if a hero like him could take them out.]

Alright, sure! Just hop on the gummi ship and sail on over!

[There's no direct explanation for his enthusiasm, but he does have a similar reason- minus the hero part, of course.]

Very well. And just who will I be looking for?

[Of course! Just don't let Kotetsu here learn about the sorcerer's slightly villainous side and everything will be all right.]

The name's Kotetsu and don't you forget it!

[He'll just have to keep his evil laughter to himself, then.]

[And he does manage to get there soon.]

[OOC: Unless you'd like to log this, I suppose we can do things here?]

[The entire time Kotetsu was waiting for his new buddy to arrive, he was mentally cursing himself for not taking his 'Tiger Suit' along with him.

The new Tiger suit, "Tiger 2.0" as he called it, was a suit created by the genius of Apollon Studios, Mr. Saitou. It was a powerful mechanized suit that could withstand up to five hundred degrees and more so. It was a pretty nifty suit, a little too high-tech for Kotetsu's liking but it's useful.]

Crap.

[He grumbled.]

I could really use that thing right now.

[Opting to conceal his identity using his trademark black and white "Tiger Mask", Kotetsu waited for the big guy to arrive.]

Eh, I don't think I ever caught his name...

[As long as Kotetsu was paying attention to the area around him, he would be able to notice Golbez approaching, keeping an eye out around him as well for the other man.]

[Well, would ya look at that! It's a walking pile of armor coming this way. Kotetsu almost couldn't contain his excitement. This guy looked like he could do some serious damage, so he was more than glad to have him on his side. Battling the Heartless will be a synch!]

Yooooooooooo~!

[Kotetsu waved him down.]

Over here!

[He turns his head toward the waving, and approaches. The man is just as ebullient in person as he had expected, but nothing about him yet spoke of incompetence, so Golbez would see how it went.]

Kotetsu.

[Kotetsu was all smiles once he caught the big guy's attention. He was almost worried that his new 'sidekick' wouldn't show up for he fun, but thankfully he was wrong.]

Hey there...you!

[He chuckled lightly.]

Sorry, but I didn't catch your name last time.

[He nodded, then looked around them at Port Royal.]

Have you yet begun to explore much of this place?

...Goblez?

[Kotetsu couldn't help but blink once he heard that name. So far from what he noticed as of late, most of the people hailing beyond his world all have funny names.

Sephiroth, Zexion, Golbez...

Such odd names!]

Ah, Mr. Goblez it is!

[His cheerful grin faded a little.]

Yep, and let me tell you that this place is dangerous! There's too many Heartless around and the pirates are really annoying! Some of them even look like skeletons!

[This man is turning out to be exactly the way Golbez thought. That's either a good thing or a bad thing. At the moment... it's leaning toward 'bad.']

Hmm. That may present a problem. How proficient are you in fighting?

First name bases? Okay!

[There's nothing bad about Kotetsu here! He's just waiting for the moment to "wow" his new buddy.]

How proficient I am? Well, let's see...

[He ponders for a moment.]

[He really didn't want to go into the details regarding his powers just yet.]

That it would. In that case, we should begin to explore. Undoubtedly the Heartless will seek us out before long.

[And once they do begin to move through Port Royal, it isn't long before a group of Shadows begins to follow them.]

Alrighty! I'll just lead the way!

[Feeling as confident as ever, Kotetsu was almost oblivious to the shadows lurking behind them. He decided that Fort Charles (http://piratesonline.wikia.com/wiki/Fort_Charles) would be their destination; the old fort adjacent to the town. The hero wanted to explore the fort earlier but he just didn't want to risk going there alone.

That's why he tried his best to recruit a few brave souls for this quest.]

Uh oh...

[He paused in mid step once he heard a howl-like cry in the distance.]

I think we got company!

So we do.

[Golbez paused as well, and raised a hand, preparing to cast if it was necessary.]

Now would be a good time to show your ability.

Eh? You're that eager to see me show off?

[He flashed Golbez a grin before turning to face the monsters again.]

Alright~! But don't get mad if I leave none of these little guys for you.

[With that said, Kotetsu rushed towards the Heartless head on. There were about five or seven of them slinking out of the shadows now and probably with more on the way. While Kotetsu didn't exactly know how to kill these bastards, but he certainly knew he could stun them long enough to make a dramatic exit.]

LET'S GO!

[Just then a bright cerulean aura engulfed Kotetsu's entire body as he swung a punch mighty enough to knock one of the creeps through several nearby pillars.]

[He wanted to see if the man was worth his energetic behavior, and if he was incompetent as he could come across as. There was little point in traveling through a place that was reportedly dangerous, if the person he was with would not be able to pull their own weight.

Fortunately, it didn't seem like that would be a problem.]

Impressive. But I doubt that will be a problem.

[He turned toward one of the creatures that was approaching him, lifting his hands and chanting under his breath for several moments. Energy gathered around his hands, condensing itself into a lightning bolt that flew forward to strike the shadow.]

Thundara!

[Does Kotetsu dazzle you, Golbez? He isn't dumb enough to wander all the way out to No Man's land without being able to put up a fight. Although, there's a reason why Kotetsu really didn't want to focus on explaining his powers to his new buddy.

That's because they only last five minutes. Once the minutes are up, he has to wait at least an hour to use them again. This explains why Kotetsu is fighting like a beast right now. If he could at least dwindle the number of Heartless near the fort now, then there will be less fighting later.]

Huh?!

[His eyes widened once he saw a spark of lightning zip past him.]

You're a NEXT, too?!

[Despite the glowing, no. But he is more impressive than Golbez first thought him to be. And he knows to keep his mind on a fight, instead of chattering and posing and generally being distracted from it.

He doesn't understand Kotetsu's surprise at the spell, though. Assuming that Kotetsu was a NEXT, whatever that was, then he didn't understand how he could see a correlation between their abilities. The blue glow surrounding Kotetsu was certainly nothing like any magic Golbez was familiar with.]

A NEXT? No. I am a mage.
