The twilight of the evening that faintly illuminates the background isn't terribly bright, but it feels incredibly intense to this particular individual... and it becomes apparent that she's trembling a bit when she continues.]

… My name is Aqua. I'm … I'm not really from around here. [Though, shockingly, that doesn't seem to be much of a stretch around these parts. The Moogle's brief explanation of her situation was helpful, but sorely incomplete. Still, there's a great, driving need to stick to the old ways. But that piece of information is supposed to be off-limits. COMPLICATIONS.]

[Before the video pans over to show Chloé sitting at what has lately become his normal table at the local inn. There is a pot of tea and a few tea cakes situated nearby. ]

I found this object in the middle of the street. When I showed it to one of the local moogles it seemed quite excited about it and even offered to buy the piece. This naturally made me a bit curious as to what it actually is. Is there anyone out there who recognizes this object and can tell me the significance behind it?



[OOC Note: Chloé has found a Lucid Shard… gained from battling one of the Shadow Heartless, but he of course just says that he found it since he is trying to hide his skills as an assassin. Feel free to believe the story or to call him on it if it is your character’s nature to do so. ]

001 | Accidental Audio/Action

 [The audio feed crackled on, and the voice of a young man filters through, anger and desperation in his tone. It's far too likely that the audio was turned on by accident.] Look, I can't stay here! My friends are out there! If I don't find them soon, then Xehanort will--

[The voice of what could only be one of the moogles in town cuts him off.] Please calm down, kupo! There's a chance your friends are also here!

[The first voice remains silent, as if trying to do just what the moogle recommended and calm down. Taking a deep, steadying breath and letting it out slowly, he speaks again, his tone more steady, but his voice still holding an odd almost wavering quality--as if he was doing everything possible to clamp down on his temper.] Are you sure?

[The odd sound of a moogle nodding.] Of course! If your friends hearts are strong enough, kupo, then they should be here!

[More silence, and... an odd sound. Soft, but clearly magic-related. Almost like a 'shing', but not quite.] Their hearts are more than strong enough to survive the Darkness. If they're here... I'll find them.

[Heavy footsteps are heard, before what sounds like a second moogle chimes in.] Kupo! Before you go--that was a Keyblade, wasn't it?

[The footsteps stop, and the male's voice sounds one final time, mild undercurrents of confusion now in his tone.] Yes, it was. Why, is that important?
