[Kain stares into the video screen for a moment. Then he moves the device to show off that he's got a small cat-sized black and red dragon with him, who is acting very agitated and occasionally snapping at him.]

[Kain glances down at the dragon. The fierceness of the little one doesn't bother him at all.]

...it's all right... I still mean no harm...

[He looks again at the device.]

I don't know where he even came from, but... I feel that this one is no Heartless or other threat. It's my responsibility as a dragoon to look after him. Perhaps I've finally been given a new purpose.
