[Venus couldn't believe her eyes. The person standing before her was none other than Kaitou Ace. She hadn't expected to see him again, her eyes clearly showed the shock upon seeing his masked face. She hadn't seen him since that unfortunate fate and she had awakened to her true identity and now he was here, in person, right in front of her eyes. She wasn't sure what to think, instead choosing to extend her hand in order to really see if what she was seeing was really true.

Upon her hand gently touching his face, her eyes widened even more before backing off.]

I...thought you were dead.

[The man just smiled slightly, under the mask his eyes were as yellow as a heartlesses.]

You choose duty over love, like I thought you would. But, what if you duty wasn't to fight the darkness, but to become one with it.

[At that mention, she took a step backwards, she was unsure as to what was going on, she was so confused right now and his words weren't making sense to her.]

[Venus soon fell to her knees, looking up at the guy she once killed, choosing duty over love, the thing she had always wanted for herself, but was damned forever to never gain it. She soon leant over, looking at the floor, the words echoing deeper and deeper into her brain as the young man started to walk towards her.]

[Stepping from the bathroom with his hair still damp from the recent shower Chloe was startled to hear his name. He was wearing pants thankfully but he hadn’t had the time or foresight to button the shirt that still hung loosely open. ]

Aya?

[Chloe barely had the time to dodge backwards to avoid the katana’s blade that his old friend and partner leveled against him. ]

Aya?! What are you…?

“If you break the oath you just took… If you are reduced to an ordinary bloodthirsty killer… I will kill you without reservation.”

[Aya straightened his stance and readied his blade for another swing this one fully intending to kill. ]

I said these words to you when I joined KB but you seem to have forgotten them.

What are you talking about Aya? I was happy to see you and you just…

You have been acting without orders Chloe. You are no better than a cold blooded murderer!

[It had been true… he had been acting without orders. Did that really mean… he had become an ordinary bloodthirsty killer. No better than those he killed? No…]
