010 ❥☾ [Video & Action in Radiant Garden]

[Despite having helped several people through their own nightmares, Lilisette had yet to be affected. At least until she received a box with no postage at her new home in Radiant Garden. She had popped it open easily with her dagger, but all it took was a brush from the nightmare duck for her to fall into her nightmare.

While in her home she hit the floor hard, in her nightmare she awoke to Lilith's stronghold in the Walk of Echoes--the space that existed deep within the far reaches of time, untouched by time's passing and protected by Atomos. In her nightmare, her alter ego, Lilith laid on the stone floor, defeated. Lilisette remembered this so well--she remembered every detail, and she couldn't stop any of it from happening.]

Lilith? [She moved to kneel beside the form of the downed woman.] Lili--?!

[A clawed hand grabbed her shoulder in a vice, keeping her from moving. Behind her she could hear her best friend and Cait Sith cry out to her, but all Lilisette could feel was the searing pain of Lilith's hand going through her chest.]

Ahaha! A fool to the very last!

[Again her friends cried out to her, called her name, but the cry fell on deaf ears. Lilith grasped her soul--her very being--before she yanked it out again. All around her, feathers fell, fallen from the broken wings of the goddess that she was said to possess. As Lilith examined it, Lilisette slumped forward.]

This is the thing...that felled me...from on high? Ab-absurd...

[Lilith's fist clenched around Lilisette's soul, the light dissipating into the woman's body.]

I refuse to suffer...this humiliation... I will bow...before neither god nor man...

[She then pulled Lilisette forward so that they were chest to chest--wound to wound--and held her there. She didn't need force this time; Lilisette was already nearly gone.]

For the sake...of my people... In the name...of my world... All of your kind...your gods...

[Lilith's bat-like wings spread out behind her, and with the last of Lilisette's strength she turned back toward her friend. All she could do was extend a hand to them--toward the camera--before the wings cocooned her in darkness.]

Shall be given...to the flames!

[There was a searing light that was nearly blinding before the video that was being transmitted ended in static.]

[The kiss broke, Venus clenching at the man's uniform.]

Finally meeting you... the lovely goddess of beauty and war... at that moment I knew if I could just change one wheel of fate, the two of us might fall in love...

[The man standing before her stepped back, the mask on his face obscuring part of it. Venus knew exactly who this man was now, even after him explaining to her. Adonis.]

But... [He brought up his hand, a solitary playing card between two gloved fingers.] I was born into this world again, and raised to the status where I can confront you!

There is only one destiny!

[His hand shot out towards her, a dark energy attack coming forth.]

I- I believe you... but haven't you always come and saved me, Ace?!

I will soon achieve domination of the whole planet Earth! I am a soldier under the Four Generals of the Dark Kingdom, Danburite! And Sailor Venus, you are my enemy!

[Another torrent of dark energy was unleashed with Venus crying out in pain. As much as she tried to shield it, it was no use.]

I'll tell you your final love fortune... your love will be hopeless for all eternity.

[Amidst the pain, Venus looked up, despair in her eyes.]

What's wrong? You should look happier! Now you can go on living without having to torment yourself over the ultimate choice - your love or your duty.

...Your fate is to continue fighting.

09 ❄ Nightmare

[Fai sat there in the middle of some ruins that he was sure he knew, but couldn't put his finger where exactly he was. Taking a few steps, he looked around, it seemed... dead.]

Hello? Anyone around?

[He had taken a couple more steps, hoping to find some life around here, after all it couldn't be dead, not again, not while he was here.]

It's all your fault!

[Fai froze in place. Where exactly did that voice come from? Why did it seem so familiar to him? He couldn't put his finger on it once again as he looked around.]

You've caused yet more problems with you simply being there!

[Fai looked rather surprised, was this aimed at him? Stopping in place as he looked down slightly. He remembered this nightmare, he was sure of it, he use to blame himself for what happened to Valeria and Celes, to what happened to those people because of how he was born.]

I didn't cause this.

Do you honestly believe you didn't cause this?

[Fai let out a tiny smile, he did wish for it to be true and because of his friends he knew for a fact it wasn't. But while looking around at the ruins he had to question where exactly it was he was.]

I do, because I know I don't cause misfortune, not anymore.

[He looked around, hoping for some way out of this horrible nightmare, but so far no luck. It wasn't until he received a kick to the back that he even realized there was anyone about.

Turning around his eyes widened, he realized at this moment that this wasn't the Syaoran that had been with them during the last part of the journey, but the one that tried to take his eye the first time and he looked like he was trying to do it again. Taking a couple of steps back he aimed a spell towards the boy, but it missed completely. Panic had started to set in as he continued to move back until he was against the wall.]

Don't come any closer!

[Syaoran did not listen, instead he continue to move close until he was close enough he hit Fai to the floor. Fai tried to get up and move, but it was to late, the boy was already towering above him, pinning him down by using his foot and hand. Fai tried his hardest to escape, he didn't want to do this all over again, he just... didn't.]

You should be punished for the misfortune you bring. So shall we begin?

[There was nothing else Fai could do as tears started to roll down his cheeks, maybe it was his fault, he should accept this punishment.]
