[Aidou appeared to be sitting in his room, the curtains that usually would let in morning light were closed shut and all the light that was around was a simple candle. Within his hand sat a small toy like doll that was he quietly finishing off before holding it up.]

Here we go, that should be it.

[He looked at it quietly at the moment, well it was the best he could do on such short notice, but it was something. Putting it to the side he leant back in his head.]

I noticed that people can sometimes miss people that aren't here and to some this can honestly get annoying, so I thought I might help solve this problem a little bit for the mean time.

This for example is to stop Kaname-sama fro whining so much, although it's not the same it's better than nothing.

[Naoto had been busy filling out the paperwork at her desk. It was during work hours so it was okay. Tapping her pen lightly against the desk, she looked at the device, she made it obvious that she had switched this on for a reason, one she was about to discus.]

It has come to my attention that there will be a day where the crowds will gather to one place. Usually something like this calls for the Police force to come and make sure that nothing happens, at least in my world, this was the case. But... [She looks away for a moment, hating have to even mention this.] unfortunately we don't exactly have the man power to do it.

[She looks at her paper once more, jotting down a note or two before looking again.]

So, in order to help, I'm looking for volunteers who will be able to help for just the one day. You will be paid of course, so I hope that this will ping your interests. [She put her pen down, holding her hands together looking all business like.]

07 Night ◐ Damp and bewildered [Video | Traverse Town]

[Turning on the communicator, Kaname gazed into the lens and hesitated to ask what was on his mind. He’d found himself in Traverse Town, water still clinging to his clothes and hair. A few stray droplets cascaded to the ground. It was strange… this place seemed familiar and yet not at all. Looking to either side, he finally found the resolve to speak.]

Salutations, everyone. [A moogle was standing nearby in the background]

This is going to sound a bit.. peculiar, but can anyone tell me …. Who I am? I seemed to have forgotten.. Somehow. [Never mind the fact that this wouldn’t be the first time Kaname had forgotten his own name but this time it was for a completely different reason. If he could remember the recent conversation he’d had with Belle about her own temporary memory loss he could have seen the irony in this]

That creature behind me… has told me all about these worlds and how we’ve all managed to arrive here.. Though it all seems a might fantastical to me I am in no position to dispute it. The- [He paused, for a moment to search for the right word] moogle, was it? Says that I’ve been here for some time… so perhaps one of you might know who I am? What sort of person .. I am?

[It was so jarring, not to be able to recall anything about himself nor his time here. What if he was something truly horrible? Did he really wish to learn the truth? He’d looked at his own attire and tried to guess at what sort of occupation he might have or for any clues. It was a fine suit.. but why was he so wet? There didn’t appear to be much water around…. Also... just why did the sun seem to bother him so? Did he have some kind of skin condition? There were so many questions and not enough answers]

[Ooc: As far as Kaname knows he's just a regular person, with amnesia. He hasn't even figured out what he is yet.

[Pay no attention to the fact that he’s at a certain location a certain business partner was boasting about. This did however, seem like the prime backdrop for what he had to say. The castles rose bushes were looking quite healthy and well cared for.]

[Ciel tried to refrain at all from appearing awkward, yet it seemed strange for him to be inviting anyone to a social gathering of this magnitude. If they could be at all avoided, parties should be in his book.. However.. It might be just the thing to help perk her up. He was willing to make the sacrifice]

[This wasn’t exactly the sort of party Hermes had been longing for but yeah, a party was a party. It was definitely something he could give his full support. Supposing that someone had missed Minako’s announcement the messenger of the Gods decided to help the girls out in getting the word out there]

Listen up, cats and kittens, ladies and gentlemen! As you’ve possibly heard already, there’s going to be a birthday party for one of our own on this upcoming Saturday. Why don’t we all show our support and join in the festivities, you dig?

The dress is formal, so get your best togas out of storage, and find a person to accompany you. Don’t forget to bring a little something for the birthday girl- although a gift isn’t mandatory the other two stipulations are.

Eh, consequently, I haven’t asked anyone myself so if anyone’s available let me know. Saleh, Dante, Lizzie, Undertaker, Oz? Any of you cats free? [He listed off a few of the people he’d managed to make the acquaintance of. He couldn‘t afford to miss a party and genuinely enjoyed the company of everyone he mentioned]

Afternoon, everyone. I hope this message finds you well. I think the party on Saturday will be a fine way for us all to connect with each other and to aide the young lady in not feeling homesick. A birthday is a very special occasion. I only wish I had learned of it sooner so that I could have offered my services in catering. All the same, I might bring a biryani dish!

As I have spoken about with a few of you, I’ve been looking for a new world that I might take up residence on. While Radiant Garden is a remarkable world I think I need a change of scenery. Is there any place you would recommend? I- think I shall rule out the Pridelands..

[ Naru was clearly holding one of Renge’s doujin in her hands as she sat at her desk. The room was mostly empty, leaving her to read it in peace]

This is- [She blushed feverishly. Placed the Doujin down, then picked it back up before slowly rotating it] Could anyone really….. get into a position like tha-? [She trailed off just before spying her communicator]

Oh my gosh! [Her hand whipped out toward it, only to knock the thing soundly to the ground. She lowered herself to the floor and scrambled to shut the feed off. Yes, she might have been reading it, but she didn’t want anyone else to know she was reading it!]

The timing was less than ideal, what with her bffs birthday in a few days but it’s also why she wanted to clear the air now. She remembered vividly how Usagi had denounced Nephrite and been against Naru’s associating with him… but… she’d already made her decision to tell Usagi about it and Usagi had been only trying to look out for her.]

[Massie hadn’t been planning on attending this little nobody’s party without a personal invite… lo and behold she got one~! As excited as she was about Aidou’s invitation she wasn’t about to lose her cool in front of the populace. Parties definitely meant one thing for sure… SHOP-ING TRIP. Her limited funds were a nightmare but she’d blow it all for this one event. Parties were great ways to network, and establish ones place.. She couldn’t afford to be anything less than a TEN]

I hope you all have dates for the party. You’ve only got a few days to find someone and to find the perfect outfit.

[With a wry smirk] You’re all in luck. I’m feeling generous today, and I’ll be glad to help anyone decide what to wear or just the right makeup to add a dash of panache. [despite her haughty attitude, Massie certainly did know fashion and how to apply proper makeup]

FYI, It’s not going to be easy to find suitable garments in these worlds.

[Oh yeah.. And Massie might have read too much into Aidou’s invitation…]

[Tidus waves when the video comes on, turning around to grab something, which turns out to be a copy of the doujinshi. He holds it out for everyone to see, smiling.]

I got my copy. Now for some really thought-provoking reading.

[He places the communicator down and sits in front of it, beginning to read the doujinshi.]

Wow, I had no idea... What?

[His eyes widen, first in disbelief, and then in horror. He quickly shuts the book, waits a few minutes, before he opens it again and begins to read the rest. He holds his breath in an attempt not to laugh, but keeping a straight face turns out to be much more difficult. Smirking, he puts the doujinshi down.]

That was really in-character. It's so good, that I hope there's a sequel someday. I think this is my new favorite story now. I feel like I can really connect to the characters.
