So much for staying at home.

[Kanda had broken his own rule, so much for telling Lenalee and Allen to stay put at home, here he was venturing through the mist. So far there hadn't been much to scare him. Once in a while he could see the silhouette of a female with golden locks of hair. He knew who she was. Kanda ignored it.]

This mist is really annoying. I get it. Who ever is behind this wanted to see how annoying they could actually be. [The light laughter a female echoed eerily in the mist. Kanda turned his head.] You win. Knock it off.

[But the mist continues to bellow about him, the girl passes by somewhere behind him, a lace-gloved hand brushing against his shoulders. He turns but she was all ready disappearing into the mist. Little did he know there was a figure appearing behind him through the thick layer of opaque. ] Tch.

You're the first man I know who doesn't go chasing the 'girl of the their dreams', Kanda.

What did you just say, beansprout- [When Kanda turned, it was obvious that it wasn't Allen who was standing there. Great. Adding more problems to the ones he all ready had.]

Perhaps I should have listened to those warnings before I decided to ignore the lot and go outside.

[Hermione had fallen asleep somewhere in an alley in Traverse town. The poor girl had gone out on a midnight stroll with her jars. She had found her communicator, mostly to see what was going on before turning it on and slowly getting to her feet. Unfortunately for the girl, she had fallen on her jars, her right arm was a mess, pieces of shattered glass were imbedded into raw skin and she gave a light whimper. To her surprise she had found a friend!]

What a mess. I'll be going back to the bakery soon, Fai, so you really shouldn't worry.

Nonsense, you must be in a lot of pain. [The smiling blond noted, taking her arm gentle while he helped her up on her feet. Hermione shrugged, wincing ever so slightly.]

I'll manage. We shouldn't be outside. I get the feeling there's something very sini- ow!

[Fai wasn't being very nice. He had grabbed her arm and squeezed it with the glass shards still in with that same warm smile over his lips. Hermione yelped, trying to shake him off but the more she struggled the tighter his grip got. Her eyes glistened, a tear or two streaming down her cheeks before finally bring her hand up to slap him leaving a streak of crimson across his pale features. She backed off, her arm bloody and shaking while Fai merely reached up to brush away at the blood.]

What's wrong with you!

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like without you?

What?

Don't act like you don't understand. You're very clever, there's no doubts there. [Fai responded, walking towards her, making her edge back into the alley against a dead end.] But that's all there is, isn't there? Without your little gift you're useless. Unwanted. You're still here just taking up space. Useless. The world would be better off without you, wouldn't it? You're not as special as you think, so let me do you a favor.

Fai, stop-

[The next minute Fai had his hands around her neck.]

[Naoto appears to be sitting in her office, looking worse for wear in the tired department and eating what appears to be an apple. She appeared to be deep in thought.]

While a lot of us appear to be suffering something due to the mist, we have the problem of what exactly is the cause for this all in the first place.

[Taking another bite of the apple, Naoto thinks things over in her head.]

But it appears it's something that only happens when one has been outside for long periods of time, if you stay at home or within your rooms, the only effects appear to be tiredness and the general lack of sleep that everyone is experiencing. I for one tested this theory out personally from the office as you can tell. I haven't barricading doors, or boarded windows, I simply just locked the door and make sure the windows are closed.

[She picks up the little eared device, turning it around to show that everything looks rather normal, expect of course for what appeared to be a cupboard  and even a very small fridge all filled with food and snacks, as well as a kettle.]

From this conclusion I have come across many questions. Such as why is simply going into any building stopping you being affected by the mist? Why doesn't it follow you inside? What exactly is this mist made from? Because by now it's obvious to all, it's not a normal mist that one might see after a lot of rain. I had my theories as to the mist's abilities, but so far, I have been proven wrong. [She pauses for a moment, it wasn't like her mist back at home. She knew that now, but still.... it wasn't normal.]

While my investigations have come up with nothing, I do believe there is an answer to everything and with time, things will be answered. If not, I'll just consider it another of the Darkness's tricks as usual. Which given what it's doing, is certainly something different to it's normal pattern, which begs the question what will it do next?

[With that questions fresh in her mind, she switches off the feed.]
