[ Simply because Cecil has spent a great deal of his time indoors since the... Song and Dance Incident at the Gummi Station, does not mean he doesn't know his way around Traverse Town. When he first finds Kain is nowhere to be found in the First District, he is, admittedly, worried. Upon second consideration, he comes to the decision that he should check the other districts too, since Kain is stubborn and proud by nature and he obviously didn't like Cecil's insistence he stay with the moogles for safety. It's completely possible the other knight has merely wandered off to explore by himself.
Half a day later, there's still no sign of Kain. The paladin has checked the hotel, all the districts, battled plenty of Heartless along the way, and even returned to the most dreaded of locations (the Gummi Ship Station) just in case. He's even resorted to just waiting to see if Kain will turn up on his own timetable.
And, still, nothing.
It's been a few days since the dragoon's arrival and Cecil doesn't know if it's high time he should panic or not, but he is — at least as much as a white knight does panic. If he can't find the dragoon by himself, no matter how he scoured the town, then the only option left is to publicly post a notice about the other man.
That is exactly what the paladin is up to now.
The feed snaps on and shows Cecil standing under the mailbox in the First District with a few moogles floating about his head and shoulders who seem to be all sorts of curious about the paladin's search for who is, as far as he knows, his only surviving friend from his home world. Cecil's expression is anything but cheerful today, though there's an obvious streak of determination. His eye-line is slightly leveled lower than that of the camera due to the fact he's not quite gotten used to staring at it when addressing the network in a video stream, but his voice is no less firm than it would be were he speaking to an actual person. ]
Excuse me! My name is Cecil Harvey and I am looking for an off-worlder like myself by the name of Kain Highwind.
[ Cecil is very careful to enunciate his friend's name with slow, deliberate precision. ]
He arrived in Traverse Town not long ago, but I haven't seen him since. He is tall, with long hair, wearing blue armor and a helm resembling a dragon's head that covers the upper half of his face. He is from Baron and he is a dragoon.
[ Again with the slow, purposeful enunciating... ]
If you happen to see him or have met him somewhere, please contact me immediately. He is a childhood friend of mine. I'm currently residing in Traverse Town, within the hotel. Again, his name is Kain Highwind.
Thank you for your time and cooperation.
[ The feed ends. ]
